Altitude breathing oxygen for sport pilots

Cylinder size, weight, available installation or mounting options, connection and the oxygen system used are decisive for selection. Pressure regulators, masks or nasal cannulas and all other components must be technically compatible with the system and intended use.

Our altitude breathing oxygen cylinders are available in compact sizes from 1.8 to 3 litres with a filling pressure of 200 bar. The appropriate size depends, among other factors, on required operating time, flow, number of persons and available installation space.

Whether and from what altitude supplemental oxygen is required depends on the applicable aviation regulations, the specific flight operation and, where relevant, the requirements of the system used. The requirements applicable to your flight are authoritative; general altitude figures do not replace this assessment.

For our fillings, the altitude breathing oxygen use-by period is generally 35 months from filling. The use-by date shown on the cylinder is authoritative. The compressed-gas cylinder itself is also subject to technical inspection intervals, generally on a ten-year cycle.

Suitable customer-owned cylinders can be refilled through our altitude breathing oxygen filling service. Oxygen supports combustion; shipping is carried out in accordance with applicable dangerous goods regulations.
