Medical oxygen for hospitals and institutions

For selection, the first crucial factor is where and how the cylinder will be used. A compact solution for intra-hospital transport has different requirements than a permanently provided oxygen reserve.

• 2 Liters: compact for mobile applications and as a reserve in functional areas
• 10 Liters: significantly larger gas supply for treatment rooms, emergency preparedness, and more frequent applications
• 50 Liters: for larger stationary needs with appropriate setup and securing

Where oxygen is to be available at a fixed or regularly used treatment station, a standing unit with a secured cylinder holder can facilitate handling. Depending on the existing equipment, the oxygen cylinder, pressure reducer, trolley, and patient connection can be selected individually or used as a coordinated system.

For suitable applications in the magnetic resonance imaging environment, we offer specially designated MR-compatible oxygen cylinders. The cylinder size alone is not decisive: the specific product labeling and the approval of all components used for the intended MR area are crucial.

For oxygen cylinders with a suitable integrated valve, pressure reduction and flow control are already integrated into the valve unit. This may eliminate the need for an additional classic pressure reducer, depending on the design. This can be particularly useful where a clear and quickly available oxygen supply is desired.
