Medical Oxygen (O₂) – Exchange & Refill

Our offer is particularly aimed at doctor's offices, clinics, emergency services, veterinarians, and other medical facilities. bluAqua Service GmbH & Co. KG holds a wholesale license according to § 52a AMG for the trade of medicinal products.

With the exchange service, you receive a technically suitable exchange cylinder filled with medical oxygen and return the empty one. This reduces waiting times because your own cylinder doesn't necessarily have to go through the entire filling process.

With the refill service, you keep your own suitable oxygen cylinder. It is collected or sent in, checked, professionally refilled, and then sent back to you.

The usability is always determined by the expiration date indicated on the supplied cylinder. Our fillings are regularly marked with a shelf life of 35 months from the date of filling. Separately from this, the technical inspection period of the gas cylinder must be considered.

Gas cylinders are subject to recurring technical inspections. For the cylinder types we use, the inspection cycle is generally ten years. A valid inspection status of the cylinder does not replace the expiration date of the medical oxygen contained – and vice versa.

Depending on the service, sizes from 0.3 to 10 liters, as well as special MRI-compatible versions, are available. Decisive factors are cylinder volume, material, valve, technical condition, and compatibility with our exchange or refill process.

If no suitable cylinder is available yet or if an additional reserve is to be built up, you can find new fillings and purchase sizes under Buy Oxygen Cylinder. There, the available cylinder sizes, gas contents, and areas of application are compared.

For controlled oxygen delivery – if no suitable combination valve is available – a compatible oxygen pressure regulator is required. Suitable oxygen masks, nasal cannulas, and complete emergency systems are also available.

Medical oxygen is an oxidizing agent. Filled oxygen cylinders are shipped in accordance with the applicable dangerous goods regulations. Observe the regulations for storage, transport, securing of the cylinders, and the respective instructions for use.
